Biosun Giving Back to the Community!

What a day at #metropolitanministries !

Biosun FFI/Biosun Biochemicals, Inc  has been a long time supporter of Metropolitan Ministries in Biosun's hometown of Tampa. Metropolitan Ministries,  a highly rewarded Tampa Bay charity, feeds and shelters families and fights homelessness.  Today a few key members of the  Biosun family was treated to a heartwarming tour of the Tampa facilities with Don Anderson,  Associate Director of Advancement.


What an amazing and enlightening experience to see the efforts of this mostly volunteer and not-for-profit organization put so many families back on their feet.  Met Ministries plans to feed 850 challenged people/day throughout the holidays.  If you would like to learn more about this amazing organization, visit www.metromin.org

Biosun @ Tampa Bay Bucs!

...Sometimes it's tough rooting for the home team! 

Our Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not fare well against the Green Bay Packers, but it still made for a great outing between Biosun FFI and Givaudan personnel! Biosun is Givaudan's select distributor of flavors to the beverage, sweet and savory industries.  We wanted the Buc's to win but at least our guest, a native and ardent Green Bay fan,  left happy with a 20-6 Packer victory.

Although the Packers had the better team yesterday... Tampa Bay sure had the BETTER WEATHER -- it was a PERFECT 'winter' day of 77 degrees --  about 50 degrees warmer than if the  game day was in Green Bay!

After the hard work of the year marketing our fabulous flavors across the U.S.  it was great to end it with the fun of  a live action game from the NFL, during the holidays.  Thanks Tampa Bay Bucs,  for at least  being competitive and thanks to our Natural Color, marketing director, Paulina Widger, for taking the pictures !

What a GREAT TIME seeing  our fearless leader, Mark Messersmith , present a historical journey of his career and mentor the many younger, Florida Gator food technologists who attended the Holiday, Florida Section IFT Dinner in Orlando!!  Mark, of course, is a DIE HARD GATOR himself!
