Sweet taste is not simply about the amount of sugar

Givaudan, the giant in the flavor industry, reported it will increase its investment in its TasteSolution health and wellness program. This responds to increasing demand from consumers for food products that are healthy but also taste great.

Givaudan's global product manager for sweet goods and dairy explained that achieving desirable levels of taste and sweetness "is not simply about replacing or reducing sugar."
